The Kick off Meeting of the SnapEarth project was held on 19-20 December in Paris at the QWANT headquarters. The project is financed under the H2020 program (DT-SPACE-01-EO-2018-2020) and the project duration is planned for 30 months.
SnapEarth will unlock new value, derive actionable service ideas on top of Earth Observation big data collections, and anticipate future priorities by leveraging cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Cloud technologies and tools.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the most important aspects of the project with the Project Officer and to prepare an action plan for the coming months.
The international consortium consists of seven units from France, Poland, Greece, Romania and Turkey. The project includes such companies as:
